Plain English version: We don't run ads, we don't use tracking pixels, and we never sell your information to data brokers or marketing lists. We use Google Analytics to see which tools help — and only after you accept cookies. When you ask to be matched, we review your details, find a provider that fits, and introduce you when you're ready; a provider doesn't get your contact information until that introduction happens. Providers pay us for introductions, which under California law may count as "sharing" or a "sale" — so you can opt out anytime via Your Privacy Choices.
When you use our tools: Nothing that identifies you. SerenIT's tools (phishing analyzer, password grader, RFP generator, etc.) do not require registration. The text you enter is sent to our AI processing service to generate a result, and nothing is stored after the response is returned. We do not log, save, or sell your inputs.
When you request matching or contact us: You voluntarily provide details such as your name, business email, company name, company size, location, and what you're looking for. This information is collected only at the time you submit a form, and only with your knowledge that we will use it to match and introduce you to an IT provider.
Automatically collected (only with consent): If you accept analytics cookies, we collect standard analytics data — pages visited, approximate geographic region, device/browser type, and which tools were used — through Google Analytics 4. This data is pseudonymous; we do not use it to build advertising profiles. If you decline, analytics cookies are not set.
We use the information you submit to review your needs, identify a suitable IT provider, communicate with you about your match, and (with your agreement) introduce you to that provider. We use analytics data to understand which tools are most helpful, identify technical issues, and improve the site.
We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or broker your personal information to marketing lists or data brokers.

SerenIT is free for you. We are compensated by IT providers when we introduce them to a potential client. This is our business model, and we disclose it openly so you can weigh it. Because we do not charge you, a provider's willingness to pay does not determine your match — we match on fit.
Because money may change hands in connection with an introduction, this activity may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We treat it conservatively as such and give you the right to opt out at any time — see Your Privacy Choices.

We do not use advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, session-recording tools, or data brokers.
We use cookies only for Google Analytics 4. When you first visit, analytics storage is set to denied by default (Google Consent Mode v2) and no analytics cookies are placed until you choose "Accept" in our cookie banner. If you choose "Reject," analytics cookies are not used.
We honor browser-based opt-out signals: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or "Do Not Track" signal, we treat it as an opt-out and do not enable analytics. You can change your choice anytime through Your Privacy Choices or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking.
We keep matching and contact submissions only as long as needed to provide the match and for reasonable follow-up — generally up to 24 months — after which we delete or anonymize them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration (up to 14 months). Tool inputs are not retained.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
