Plain English version: We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. The only time we share your information is when you explicitly ask us to connect you with a local MSP — and you fill out a form that clearly says that's what happens. We use Google Analytics to understand which tools are being used. We don't collect any information when you just use the tools.

1. What information we collect

When you use our tools: Nothing. SerenIT's AI-powered tools (phishing analyzer, password grader, RFP generator, etc.) do not require registration. The text you enter is sent to our AI processing service to generate a result, and nothing is stored after the response is returned. We do not log, save, or analyze your inputs.

When you fill out a lead form: If you choose to connect with a local MSP, you voluntarily provide your name, business email, company size, and location. This information is collected only at the time of form submission and only with your explicit consent.

Automatically collected: Like most websites, we collect basic analytics data — pages visited, approximate geographic region, browser type, and which tools were used. This data is aggregated and anonymized through Google Analytics 4.

2. How we use it

We use analytics data to understand which tools are most helpful, identify technical issues, and improve the site. We do not use this data to build individual profiles or target advertising.

We do not sell, rent, or broker personal information to any third party for their marketing purposes.

3. When you submit a lead form

SerenIT's business model is connecting business owners who want IT help with vetted local MSPs. This connection only happens when you fill out a lead form — which clearly states what will happen.

When you submit a form:

  • Your information is sent to Formspree (our form processing provider) and forwarded to SerenIT.
  • SerenIT shares your name, email, location, and company size with one or more vetted MSPs in your geographic area who specialize in the relevant area.
  • The MSP will contact you directly. SerenIT does not continue to contact you unless you initiate it.
  • We do not share your information with MSPs who have not agreed to our provider standards.

You can request removal of your information at any time by emailing [email protected].

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate the site:

  • Google Analytics 4 — website analytics. Google's privacy policy applies.
  • Formspree — form submission processing. Formspree's privacy policy applies to submitted data.
  • Anthropic Claude API — AI processing for our AI-powered tools. Text submitted to these tools is processed by Anthropic. Anthropic's API terms of service and privacy policy apply.
  • Google Fonts — web font delivery. Google may log the request.

We do not use advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or any other data broker services.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies for Google Analytics 4 only. These cookies collect anonymous, aggregated data about site usage. They do not track you across other websites and do not store any personally identifiable information.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or session recording tools.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of future contact from SerenIT

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not sell personal information within the meaning of the CCPA.
